Our technician uses a special spray gun to apply a self-tanning product to the body, creating an even tan that lasts 7–12 days. A tan in the blink of an eye, without having to sweat in the sun or bake in a tanning bed.
Our sprays contain many beneficial ingredients, such as antioxidants and plant-based ingredients, which enrich, nourish and strengthen the skin. The benefits of this technique are numerous: no streaks, spots or orange tones, no skin damage, no premature skin ageing and no dermatological problems. In 20 to 30 minutes, the result is an even, flawless tan lasting six to eleven days, depending on your skin type and aftercare.
DHA is a self-tanning solution. It does not create a “real tan” by increasing melanin levels, but creates a tanned appearance by making the skin look darker. DHA acts only on the outer layer of the skin through a reaction between skin proteins and DHA. Colour develops between 2 and 6 hours after application, and intensity depends on the concentration of DHA. DHA is not absorbed into the body through the skin and there is no known toxicity. DHA has been registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) since 1973 and has been used in cosmetic preparations for nearly 30 years.

Exfoliation : exfoliate your entire body 24 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin and achieve the best results. Don’t forget your feet, knees and elbows, as these are the driest areas of the body! It is best to do this in the shower, using an oil-free exfoliant or, even better, an exfoliating mitt (available from the technician). This step is essential because when your spray tan fades, if your body has not been properly exfoliated, your skin colour may not fade evenly.
Make-up/perfume : no make-up, perfume, hair-removal products, creams or lotions: they interfere with the entire process and reduce the quality of the application and the tan. Your skin must be clean and dry at the time of the session. If you have very dry skin, moisturise it as much as possible in the days leading up to the session (not on the day itself), as dehydrated or flaky skin can result in patches and an uneven tan.
Clothing : We recommend wearing loose, dark clothing after the application. Avoid tight clothing (including shoes and bras) immediately after the session until the tan has fully developed, i.e. after 4 to 8 hours.
Moisture/water : Avoid rain, do not shower and do not take part in sports activities for 4 to 8 hours after the session so that the product can set on your skin and prevent unsightly marks!
This technique does not damage the skin because the products used are 100% natural and can be used regularly. All the ingredients in the self-tanning lotion are commonly used in cosmetics and commercial food products, and their safety for use on the skin has been demonstrated.
Take care if you suffer from eczema or psoriasis. If you are pregnant, avoid spray tanning during the first 3 months. Normally, the product should not cause allergies. Using the product may even be beneficial by reducing sun allergies.
Between 7 and 12 days, depending on how well you care for your skin, your lifestyle and your daily activities. Hydrated skin holds a tan much longer, so moisturise as often as possible. Exfoliation, frequent shaving, hair removal, long hot baths or thermal baths, heavy sweating and body products containing alcohol can accelerate natural exfoliation and make the tan fade faster.
After bathing or showering, gently pat your skin dry with your towel rather than rubbing it. To prolong your tan, we recommend using an extender lotion to improve skin hydration and elasticity while creating a natural-looking complexion!
Nothing in this lotion prevents you from using a tanning bed or sunbathing. However, the self-tanning products in Spraytan do not act as sunscreen and provide absolutely no protection from harmful UV rays. Spray tanning is not equivalent to a natural tan. Using a good sunscreen remains necessary.
Swimming and going to the sauna will make your tan fade more quickly. Exercise is not recommended immediately before or after the treatment because of sweating.
Non ! The world of UV-free tanning has evolved considerably since the 1990s, and we are far removed from the self-tanning products that used to give the skin an orange appearance. Self-tanners have improved over time and now offer naturally tanned shades that do not reveal that you have self-tanned. We use only high-quality products with very natural results.
Because only the airbrush method is used, the product is applied in a way that mimics a natural sun tan. Since a person applies the spray tan rather than a machine, there is virtually no risk of lines or missed areas. Your spray tan can be adapted to your needs and your body for a natural result!
Showering & exercise : Do not shower ou pratiquer une activité sportive dans les 4 à 8 heures qui suivent la séance afin de fixer le produit sur la peau et d'éviter les traces disgracieuses.
Sweating : Avoid heavy sweating during the first 4 to 8 hours. Then take a shower to remove excess product. You can then go in the water or exercise.
Moisturise : Keep your skin well moisturised in the days following your session. We recommend an extender lotion (available from our technicians) to improve your skin’s hydration and elasticity while creating a natural-looking complexion!

Of course, the same care measures before the session (exfoliation / shaving / no deodorant or perfume / etc.) and after the session (clothing / showering / sweating / etc.) also apply to men!
We only use products that are not tested on animals, and our products contain no animal-derived ingredients.
Everyone’s tastes differ, of course, but our spray tan smells pleasant during and after the session. We are often told that it even smells good. After the first shower, any smell has disappeared.
If you do not want lines, we recommend not wearing clothing during your spray tan session. You are certainly not an exception, as 99% of our clients tan nude, which gives the best results!
Only during the first 6 to 8 hours after application, but this is temporary and disappears after the first shower. The solution is water-soluble and comes out easily from most fabrics. However, it can permanently stain silk and leather.
